MyGov.in Cycle Ki Kahani Aapki Zubaani- Short Film Contest

On the occasion of Saksham 2019, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has initiated to organize a Short Film Contest through MyGov. A Short Film Contest invites All Indian Citizens to make Short (maximum 3 minute) Films based on the Benefits of Cycling, Fuel Conservation and Environment Protection relating it to today and the future of India.
The objective of the competition is to make the General Public aware of the relevance of fuel conservation, which will help protect the environment for the future generations to come as well as to focus on various benefits of cycling to the environment and the people.
About the Competition:
1. The Short Film is open only for Indian Citizens
2. Submission of the Short Film will start from 16th January 2019.
3. The duration of the Short Film should be maximum 3 minutes.
4. The Short Film can be made in any of the 22 Official Indian Languages with transcript (in verbatim) in Hindi or English.
5. The winning entries will be announced on a later date on MyGov.
6. The Panel of Jury, who will evaluate the contest, will be Experts on Environment Protection & Fuel Conservation and Film Making.
7. The last date of Submission will be 15th February 2019.

Casttree Short Film Contest

Entry submissions are now open to the Casttree Awards 2018. Go ahead and submit your short film to stand a chance to win lots of prizes.
Eligibility
Entries for the Casttree Short Film Event are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee for Casttree Events - 2018 is Rs. 249 per entry.

Rules and Regulations
- The Short Film can be based on any subject or concept.
- The short film can be in any language. Include sub-titles in English is optional but mostly welcome.
- The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should be a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.
- All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.
- The Last Date for Submissions is January 31st, 2019.
- Only Short Films produced after 1st January 2012 are eligible for the festival.
- The Entry Fee is INR 249 per film.
- Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.
- The short films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.

On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, National Film Development Corporation, a unit of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has initiated to organise a Short Film Competition through www.MyGov.in. A Short Film competition invites young amateur filmmakers (School/College Students) to make Short Films (maximum 3 minute) based on “Be the change which you want to see in the world” to showcase the relevance of the messages even today in the 21st century.
The objective of the competition is to make the youth aware of the simplicity and high ideals of Mahatma Gandhi’s life which eventually became his message to the world.
About the Competition:
1. The Short Film is open only for Indian Citizens who are amateur film-makers/ students from High schools/Colleges /University (both Public & Private)
2. Submission of the Short Film will start from 2nd October 2018.
3. The duration of the Short Film should be maximum 3 minutes.
4. The Short Film can be made in any of the 22 Official Indian Languages with transcript (in verbatim) in Hindi /English.
5. The winning entries will be announced on a later date on www.MyGov.in.
6. The Experts on Gandhian Philosophy and Film Making would form the Panel of Jury and evaluate the competitor’s.
7. The last date of Submission will be 31st December 2018.

Global population challenges are real. Make a video to share your solution.
Win cash prizes by creating a short video on a global challenge impacted by population growth. All middle and high school students are eligible to enter. Information on the 2019 contest is available now.
Create a short video – up to 60 seconds – about human population growth that highlights one of the following global challenges: Preserving Biodiversity, Sustainable Resource Use, Protecting Human Rights.. All videos must include:
Win cash prizes by creating a short video on a global challenge impacted by population growth. All middle and high school students are eligible to enter. Information on the 2019 contest is available now.
Create a short video – up to 60 seconds – about human population growth that highlights one of the following global challenges: Preserving Biodiversity, Sustainable Resource Use, Protecting Human Rights.. All videos must include:
a) how population growth impacts the issue
b) at least one idea for a sustainable solution.
Consider narrowing your focus by concentrating on a subtheme within your topic. Possible subthemes include:
Advancing Women and Girls -access to education, gender equality,
women in government, women’s health, child marriage
Feeding 10 Billion -hunger, food waste, resource and energy use, deforestation, pollution
Preventing Pollution -impacts on air, water, and land, climate change, human and wildlife health, ecosystem destruction
Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2019.
- All entries must be a digital video.
- Each entry must focus on ONE of following global challenges as it relates to population growth:
- Climate Change
- Ocean Health
- Rapid Urbanization
- Students may work together in groups or submit entries as individuals.
- The length of the video should not exceed 60 seconds (one minute), not including the 10 second title screen (see #5).
- All entries should begin with a 10 second full-screen “title screen” that includes the following information:
- Lead Producer’s name
- School name
- School city, state
- Title of video
- Total running time (not including the 10 second title screen)
- All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. IF CHOSEN AS A FINALIST, you must submit a list of your sources, properly cited.
- Each video must have one Lead Producer to serve as the main point of contact. Recognition and prizes will be given to the lead producer and all those listed as co-producers on the entry form.
- There is no entry fee.
- Entries may be submitted through the website starting on September 1, 2018. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm (eastern time, US) on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Winners will be announced no later than Tuesday, May 8, 2019.
- All entries must be submitted in digital format.
- No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyrighted materials.
- No professional assistance is allowed. Adults may assist with production but are limited to verbal guidance only. Adults are allowed to be actors or cameramen but not content contributors.
- All portions of the online entry form must be completed when you upload your video for it to be eligible.
- IF CHOSEN AS A FINALIST you must submit a signed/completed Parent Permission Form and a signed/completed Actor Release Form for each person appearing in your video. - Content must comply with all local and national laws of the country of origin and the United States. Content must not 1) promote illegal behavior; 2) support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice; 3) advocate sexual or violent exploitation; 4) violate rights established by law or agreement; 5) invade the privacy of any person; or 6) be otherwise inappropriate as determined by Population Connection in its sole and conclusive determination.
- The judges’ decision is final. Entries will be judged by topic, with winners in each of the three global challenge areas: Climate Change, Ocean Health, and Rapid Urbanization. Decisions will be made based on the World of 7 Billion Judging Rubric.
- The only compensation for submitting a video is the opportunity to be awarded a prize if the entry wins. Population Connection will pay filmmakers no additional compensation nor be liable to the filmmaker under any circumstances.

MyGov.in Short-Film Making Contest for Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region Scheme

Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER) is new sub-scheme under NMSA through which assistance is provided for Organic Farming clusters in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, during 2015-16 to 2017-18.
The scheme aims at development of certified organic production in a value chain mode to link growers with consumers and to support the development of entire value chain starting from inputs, seeds, certification, to the creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, marketing and brand building initiative.
Ministry of Agriculture invites citizens to use their creative skills and make Short-films that showcase the objectives of the MOVCDNER scheme. You can do this by creating Short-Films (Animation Films, Mobile Films or any other Films produced with broadcast quality).
The objectives are listed below:
To develop crop commodity specific organic value chain and address gaps in organic crop production, wild crop harvesting, organic livestock management and processing handling and marketing of organic agricultural products
To facilitate partnerships between farmers and organic businesses (Farmer Producer Companies) in domestic and export markets
To empower producers with program ownership by organizing them into FIGs with the final aim to federate into farmer producer organizations/ companies
Develop NER products as brands/labels through brand building and facilitating stronger marketing access under the ownership of growers’ organizations/ companies
Creating state specific lead agency (Organic Commodity Board or Organic Mission) for coordinating, monitoring, supporting and financing the development and operationalization of entire value chain.
The short-films can be either in English or in Hindi
Duration of the film should not be more than 2 minutes
The Short Film should be uploaded to YouTube as an “Unlisted” Video and its URL must be shared in the comments section.

The Parampragat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) is the first comprehensive scheme launched by the Central Government as a centrally sponsored programme (CSP), where the Central and state government’s share the funding in varying ratio.
The scheme is implemented by the State Governments on a cluster basis of 20 hectare each. The farmer within the cluster is given financial assistance upto a maximum of 1 ha and the limit of assistance is Rs.50,000 per ha during the conversion period of 3 years. The target is to promote 10,000 clusters covering 2 lakh ha over the period of 3 years, 2015-16 to 2017-18.
Ministry of Agriculture invites citizens to use their creative skills and make short film that showcase the objectives of the PKVY scheme.
The objectives are listed below:
• To promote eco- friendly concept of cultivation reducing the dependency on agro-chemicals and fertilizers.
• To optimally utilize the locally available natural resources for input production.
• To promote use of local indigenous traditional techniques for management of plant nutrition and plant protection.
• To develop 10,000 organic clusters of 50 acres each.
• To develop potential markets for organic products.
The short-films can be either in English or in Hindi
Duration of the film should not be more than 2 minutes
The Short Film should be uploaded on YouTube as an “Unlisted” Video and its URL must be shared in the comments section.
Last date of submission of entry is 5th April, 2018 at 5pm.

Rules and Regulations.
Rangam is an open-event. Irrespective of the language, cultural, geographical borders, entries are invited from all.
The entries have to be original. Content copied from any external source shall lead to direct disqualification. Albeit music or BGM can be taken from other sources provided they are accredited properly.
Only films completed on or after 1st January 2017 are eligible for entry into the competitions.
There is no subject/theme for the competition in particular.
The Film cannot exceed a total of 30 minutes running time, not including the title card and credits.
Entries maybe in any language, but suitable on-screen English subtitles must be furnished for languages other than Malayalam.
The jury would pick the best 8 from the list of submissions at the end of the first round of screening.
Only the above selected 8 entries would be screened during the festival and the screening will be solely on the discretion of the jury.
The final round of the competition screening would be judged and awarded in the following categories:
Best Director – 10K
Second Best Short Film – 15K
Best Short Film – 25K
Physical presence of the Applicant is not mandatory during the festival.

Aim and Objective
The objective of Heritage short film competition are –
To explore to possibilities of film as a weapon to create awareness about heritage.
To discover the uniqueness of our heritage which is our pride and part of cultural richness.
SUBMISSION :
Entries at HSFC are open to all.
Duration of the short film shall be maximum 25 minutes including front and back credits.
The film may be in any format, including cell phone but only DVD/Blu Ray will be accepted for the competition.
The film can either be silent or with dialogues. Films other than English, must have English subtitles.
The DVD/Blu Ray can be sent by courier or post and should be submitted with Entry fee and Entry form
Film Festival has the rights to use the entries/selected films, preview DVD/Blu Ray, synopsis by Director for promotional purposes and to retain DVD/ Blu Ray copies of each film as part of festival library.
Films once selected and submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances till festival is over.
Entry materials including stills, posters synopsis of film shall not be returned to the entrant.
The two copies DVDs/Blu Rays of the film(PAL or NTSC system mp4 format with H-24 codec or standard mpeg-2, avi, wmv format should have following on a plain paper and posted on the non-playing side- Film Title (original and English), Running time (in minutes), Country, Year of Production, Contact number and email id of Producer/Production Company.

Complete documentation of the film is to be made to Festival when required. The DVD/Blu Ray must be sent by registered mail stating of “No Commercial Value” and only for selection/cultural purposes. The postal/customs fees of the submitted film will be borne by the entrant. Multiple entries can be submitted but there should be separate entry forms, preview DVD/Blu Ray, synopsis/description. Each film is to be considered as new entry. The organizing, selection committee members, juries are not allowed to participate as contestant.

Film should be submitted before deadline. The HSFC is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen or misappropriated entries.
Entry forms with incorrect/inadequate/illegible/ambiguous particulars will not be considered. The festival committee reserves the rights to accepts or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.
DVDs/ Blu Rays submitted for selection shall be final and no changes will admitted after submission.
It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to submit DVD/Blu Ray without any physical/quality defects.

Aim and Objective
The objective of Heritage short film competition are –
To explore to possibilities of film as a weapon to create awareness about heritage.
To discover the uniqueness of our heritage which is our pride and part of cultural richness.
SUBMISSION :
Entries at HSFC are open to all.
Duration of the short film shall be maximum 25 minutes including front and back credits.
The film may be in any format, including cell phone but only DVD/Blu Ray will be accepted for the competition.
The film can either be silent or with dialogues. Films other than English, must have English subtitles.
The DVD/Blu Ray can be sent by courier or post and should be submitted with Entry fee and Entry form
Film Festival has the rights to use the entries/selected films, preview DVD/Blu Ray, synopsis by Director for promotional purposes and to retain DVD/ Blu Ray copies of each film as part of festival library.
Films once selected and submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances till festival is over.
Entry materials including stills, posters synopsis of film shall not be returned to the entrant.
The two copies DVDs/Blu Rays of the film(PAL or NTSC system mp4 format with H-24 codec or standard mpeg-2, avi, wmv format should have following on a plain paper and posted on the non-playing side- Film Title (original and English), Running time (in minutes), Country, Year of Production, Contact number and email id of Producer/Production Company.

Complete documentation of the film is to be made to Festival when required. The DVD/Blu Ray must be sent by registered mail stating of “No Commercial Value” and only for selection/cultural purposes. The postal/customs fees of the submitted film will be borne by the entrant. Multiple entries can be submitted but there should be separate entry forms, preview DVD/Blu Ray, synopsis/description. Each film is to be considered as new entry. The organizing, selection committee members, juries are not allowed to participate as contestant.

Film should be submitted before deadline. The HSFC is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen or misappropriated entries.
Entry forms with incorrect/inadequate/illegible/ambiguous particulars will not be considered. The festival committee reserves the rights to accepts or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.
DVDs/ Blu Rays submitted for selection shall be final and no changes will admitted after submission.
It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to submit DVD/Blu Ray without any physical/quality defects.

I. Objective of the Video making Contest
SAUBHAGYA is a newly launched scheme with the objective of achieving universal household electrification by providing last mile connectivity to all household in rural and urban areas by March 2019. For more information on the scheme, please visit http://saubhagya.gov.in .
A short film making contest is being organized for Indian nationals to create awareness about the scheme and to involve the general public as ambassadors of the program. The entries of the contest may also be used by us on various platforms and advertisement campaigns.

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: May 2017
2) Maximum duration: 14 minutes
3) Country of production: India
4) Screening format: MP4/Mov
5) Accepted genres: Fiction
The short films are expected to be subtitled in English if the dialogues are in Tamil, Hindi or any
other National Language. Otherwise, their participation will not be considered.
AAKAM National Short Film Festival will be held in February 2018 at Anna University.
Categories
There are Five (3) COMPETITION SECTIONS to participate in:
a) Best Short Film (Commercial) - (Best 3)
b) Best Short Film (Theme) - (Best 3)
c) Best Music Video (Theme) - (Best 3)
Requirements for Participation:
• Natural or legal entities of any nationality can participate
• The number of short films that you can enter into competition is limited to two short films per director
• Only short films that have not been previously exhibited in other National film festival will be accepted
• The film cannot be a reduced or extended version of another short film made previously for this festival.
• Only short films with completion date after May, 2017 can compete
Awards
The AAKAM National Short Film Festival will award honorable mentions if the jury deems so. The prizes are personal and not transferable. The AAKAM National Short Film Festival organization can deem some categories as deserted if the call does not meet a minimal participation.
Participating short films in the OFFICIAL COMPETITION SECTION will compete for the following

Atharva Foundation in association with Pocket Films proudly presents the ‘Patriotic Short Film Contest’. Show us how much the armed forces mean to you. Their stories- well known or untold.
Atharva Foundation is an initiative of The ATHARVA EDUCATIONAL TRUST, which is the brain child of SHRI SUNIL RANE. The institute imparts education and knowledge in the field of Engineering, Management, Hospitality, Fashion, and Film. Shri Sunil Rane believes that the growth of a nation depends on the growth of the various sections of its society. This noble thought has lead to the formation of ATHARVA FOUNDATION which aims to bring about a positive change in the lives of the less fortunate people of India. With the intent to Salute the real heroes of our nation, the foundation is organizing a grand event on 31st January 2018 in Mumbai to commemorate the untold stories of bravery and valour.
What can be submitted
SHORT FILMS, DOCUMENTARIES & MUSIC VIDEOS of duration not more than 20 minutes, (including title & end credits) with the theme of saluting the armed forces.
It could be about what the armed forces mean to you, or it could about a particular story about them that you want to share.
THEME:
Films based on a patriotic theme of saluting the armed forces. Stories revolving around our armed forces ie. army, navy and airforce. Basically, a heartfelt salute to our heroes.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 10th January 2018
ELIGIBILITY:
The Participant should be over 18 years of age as on 15th November 2017
The film should be made by a person of Indian origin OR the film should be based on India
Two options are available for participating in the festival:
1. Participating only for Patriotic Short Film Festival contest
2. Participating for Patriotic Short Film Festival contest and also availing the distribution offer from Pocket Films which would mean that your film not only gains awareness across various platforms but you also participate in the success of your film through revenue share.

As per UGC guidelines to curb the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions in order to prohibit , prevent and eliminate it.These regulation mandate every college responsibilities to curb the menace of ragging, including strict pre-emptive measures. Since SOIL is known as the soul of infinite life, continued maintenance of good soil health is vital to agriculture production and nation’s economy. Despite the indisputable role of soil for the health of Human being, animal and plant life, there has been very little concern about soil health care. Soil health is the capacity of the soil to sustain biological productivity, maintain environment quality and promote plant and animal health. It is the fitness of the soil for specific use.
The emerging complex challenges of maintaining good health of the precious, scare and shirking soil resource for sustained high productivity under the current and projected unprecedented pressure are enormous, but their cost-effective, eco-friendly, farmer-friendly and scientifically sound solutions will be amply rewarding in terms of food security, environmental safety and over all human welfare. To maintain soil resource in good health, mass awareness among the farmers and others stakeholders about the value of the soil health is of utmost importance. Government of India has been implementing a scheme on Soil Health Management (SHM) to take care of soil test based nutrient management at farm level.
All citizens or stakeholders are invited to participate in raising awareness about the soil health care-A Key to Nation’s Prosperity. You can do this by creating Short-Films (Animation Films, Mobile Films or any other Films produced with broadcast quality) on one of the themes mentioned below:

Air India Vigilance Department - Short Film contest

Central Vigilance Commission(CVC),as part of its continuous effort to involve public as active participants in ensuring a "Corruption Free India”, observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year.This year CVC has directed vigilance units of all Departments of the Government and Public Sector Undertaking to observe vigilance awareness week-2017 with effect from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017.
Air India Vigilance department is organizing a Short Film contest on the current year’s theme "My Vision- Corruption Free India”.
Air India welcomes talents from the short film makers and enthusiasts to be part of this contest.
General Rules
- Anyone can participate, from India.
- The theme of the contest is "MY VISION-CORRUPTION FREE INDIA”. .
- The last date of submission of short film is ON OR BEFORE 25TH OCTOBER 2017.
- The length of the Short Film should be up to a maximum duration of 10minutes.
- The resolution of the video must be at least 720p and the final video must be in MOV/MPEG-4/WMV formats only.
- End credits at the end of each film are limited to a maximum of 60 seconds. After the End Credits , there must be a mention in the film as : This film was made for AIR INDIA - VIGILANCE DEPARTMENT DURING THE VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK – 2017.
- Opening titles are considered to be part of the film, and hence count in total duration of your film.
- All costs incurred for making of the short film shall be incurred by the contestants. Air India will not bear any expenses regarding the same.
- Consent letters from the contestants with details of name, address and phone numbers shall be sent along with the short films.
- Films shall be made only after 28th September 2017. Short film DVDs shall not be returned.
- The decision of the jury constituted by Air India Vigilance Department in selection of the winners shall be final.

- 1st Prize : 4 DOMESTIC RETURN TICKETS
- 2nd Prize: 2 DOMESTIC RETURN TICKETS
- 3rd Prize: 1 DOMESTIC RETURN TICKET
Applicable Taxes shall be borne by the winners.

- The Films must be the original work of the team and must not infringe any third-party’s rights.
- Films shall be made in Hindi,English or any regional language with subtitles in English mandatorily.
- Must be suitable for screening for all audience and shall not contain obscene or indecent material.
- Must not contain defamatory statements about any person, company, organization or entity.
- Must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, company or entity.
- Must not in any other way violate applicable laws and regulations; and shall not contain any copyrighted elements not owned by the team.
- Films containing prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by Air India , in its sole discretion, will be disqualified.
- The award winning short films shall be used/screened on Air India flights or for purposes of any other PSUs.

Eligibility
Entry is free and open to all who must be of minimum 18 years of age, also resident andcitizens of India at the time of the production of the video submitted to ‘THE BEST SHOT’.
Terms and Conditions
- The video neednot necessarily be made specifically for‘THE BEST SHOT’ contest. You may also edit your previously shot videos to the requirement of ‘THE BEST SHOT’ contest.
- The entries can be in any language but must contain audio. However, any regional language must be accompanied by subtitles for translation.
- All entries should be submitted as a YouTube link or Vimeo link. Please ensure that the submission link is not private.
- All entries must be between 30 seconds (minimum) to 90 seconds (maximum) of running time, including title and end credits.
- Entrants must obtain the consent of everyone appearing in their entries if their faces are recognizable.

The Honourable Prime Minister in his “Mann Ki Baat” on 29th July 2017 spoke about a Sankalp to make “Filth – Quit India”. On August 9, 2017, he also issued a clarion call to the nation during his speech on the floor of the Lok Sabha to embrace the "Sankalp se Siddhi" movement, and appealed to all citizens to play their role towards achieving a New India by 2022.
To help implement the Honourable Prime Minister’s vision, Swachh Sankalp se Swachh Siddhi Short Film Competition is being organized as another major step in making Swachhta a Jan Aandolan. Individuals are requested to make 2 to 3 minute films on the theme of Swachhta and show how they can contribute to the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Our Rivers Are Dying
India’s rivers are undergoing a drastic change. Due to the pressures of population and development, our perennial rivers are becoming seasonal. Many of the smaller rivers have already vanished. Floods as well as droughts are becoming increasingly frequent as rivers turn unruly during the monsoon, and vanish once the rainy season is over.
Rally for Rivers is a nationwide awareness campaign to revive our rivers. Conceived by Sadhguru, the campaign has been taken up by every section of society across the nation. For to save our rivers, we need a positive river policy by the government, which is backed by massive public support. Garnering people’s support can be a happen only if the youth of our country lead from the front. And videos are a powerful medium to convey a message. We invite you to make a short video and let the nation know about the crisis our rivers are facing!

The online video submission is aimed at engaging youth and college-going students in the Rally for Rivers campaign on a nationwide scale. As a part of the submission, individual students or groups of students should produce short videos around the theme given above. We expect an audience of 10 million people on various digital mediums for these videos.

Prizes
Winners will be awarded cash prizes as follows:
First Prize: INR 3,00,000
Second Prize: INR 1,00,000
Third Prize: INR 50,000
Weekly Prize – INR 10,000
The First Prize Winner will get an opportunity to produce a film using the prize money under the guidance of one of the eminent panelist directors. The top 10 entries will be showcased by INOX Cinemas Network. National Geographic Channel (NGC) will also promote the top entries on their digital properties.
Weekly Winners will be decided on the basis of voting. The video which gets the maximum votes from 00:00:01 Monday to 23:59:59 every Sunday will be declared as a Weekly Winner.
If a video wins in a particular week, it will not qualify again for the Weekly Winners Contest. All other entries (except for the Weekly Winner) will continue to be eligible for voting in the following weeks. However, Weekly Winners will be eligible for the top 10 list based on the overall number of votes received.
Judgment Criteria:
The uploaded entries will be open for voting online.
Once you upload, you get 100 points
Each Facebook like / website vote gives 20 points
Each Facebook share gives 40 points
Based on the number of votes/likes received, the top 10 videos will be shortlisted. These videos will be posted and promoted on different social media platforms by the Online Video Submission organizers. To decide the winners, INOX will host the culmination event in which these top 10 videos will be showcased. An expert panel will judge the 10 final videos and decide the winners (First, Second and Third). The panelists will evaluate videos based on the following factors:

Creativity and originality
Overall presentation
Popularity with the audience

"India @70 Years of Freedom" - Doordarshan Short Film Contest

Doordarshan is organising a short film contest named "India @70 years of freedom" on various themes on the occasion of 70th Anniversary of Independence.
"India @70 years of freedom" is an initiative of Doordarshan to create awareness, education, encouragement and enlightenment about Inspiring, real-life stories of ordinary people who have made a difference to the society to rid the society of some evil or malpractice, educate and enlighten people about the importance of Independence, freedom struggle, freedom fighters and to instil the feeling of patriotism.
Film competition categories are:
1. Inspiring, real-life stories of ordinary people who have made a difference to the society to rid the society of some evil or mal practice – up to 3 min duration
2. Films that interestingly educate and enlighten people about the importance of Independence – up to 2 min duration
3. Commercials that create awareness about the independence struggle, patriotism, freedom from some evil or mal practice in the society – up to 1 minute.
Animation films, mobile films and films of any other genre produced with broadcast quality can participate in this contest.
Registration is open to all Indian nationals. Any language. But regional language films are to be supported with English or Hindi transcription.
Interested participants can take part in all the three categories of the contest.
A jury comprising communication experts, social entrepreneurs and film makers will judge the 3-minute, 2-minute and 1-minute films separately.
The best three films in each of the three categories will get Rs 50,000/-, Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- respectively and a merit certificate.
The films will be first screened on Doordarshan and then released on YouTube, from where all the good films will go viral. The films will also be used by Doordarshan extensively in their workshops and training programs.
The participants are required to download and print the contest registration form from the link given below. They will then upload their videos on YouTube and set the privacy of the videos as "Unlisted"*. The URL of this Unlisted Video needs to be submitted on MyGov.
The last date for submitting entries is 7th August, 2017.
