18th International Biennial of Children and Young People Graphic Art

18th International Biennial of Children and Young People Graphic Art - Toruล„ 2012.

The organizers of the contest are:
Children's Creative Art Centre and Gallery in Toruล„ in cooperation with:
The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Warsaw,
The Office of the Governor of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Toruล„,
The City Office of Toruล„,
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Branch of the Association "The Polish Commonwealth" in Toruล„

Aim
To popuylarise graphic and various graphic techniques among children and youth.

Who can Participate
Children and adolescents aged 5 to 19.
Works will be evaluated in five age groups.
5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16 and 17-19

Theme: Free

Size: Should not exceed 100X70 cm

Technique
The works sent to the competition will be evaluated in two categories
1. Traditional graphic techniques: linocut, woodcut, plaster engraving, callagraphy, cardboard engraving, dry point, etching, aquatint, lithography, stencil, serigraphy and other techniques of relief, concave and plane printing.
2. Computer graphics

The art works using other techniques such as drawing or painting and sent via electronic mail will not be considered.

Evaluations of work by an international jury 30 June to 2 July 2012
