The National Science Concours or NSC, the first of its kind National Online Competition, was started by Pivotal in 2013. Based on the premise that experiential learning or learning by doing is the most effective form of learning, the NSC was conceptualized to inspire and encourage the younger generation to learn and discover science and its practical usage.
Eligibility
NSC is open for the students from class 6th to 11th.
These classes will be divided into three categories
1. Class VI & VII Pegasus
2. Class VIII & IX Phoenix
3. Class X & XI Unicorn
Students will have to schedule a one hour slot for their test anytime during the given test dates. It will be an online test and students can take the test from anywhere. This pan-India contest will give the students a National exposure. This year, students will be divided into four zones based on the state they participate from. There will be one Summer Science Camp for each zone. There will be three stages in the contest:
Stage I: Participate
Register Online
Students are required to register on our website. This registration is Free and very simple.
Schedule test
The Student, after registration, will have the option of scheduling the test at any convenient time between the dates. For this year, the exam dates are from 15th Oct 2015 to 15th Nov 2015
Take Test
Take the test at the scheduled time.
Stage II: Conceptualize
Based on the results, We will publish a list of students who qualify for Level II.
Qualified students can participate in Level II by paying a nominal fee.
In Level II, student will research on a topic and will prepare a Project.
Project can be presented in a Powerpoint or Video.
Stage III: Create
Based on the score of test and the idea/project, top 15 students from each category from each zone will participate in Summer Science Camp.
Here, students will work on the best of the ideas, generated during conceptualize stage.
