YUVA Sangam aims to bring the youth of Uttar Pradesh on a common platform to have a meaningful dialogue with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to churn out innovative solutions to 11 most critical challenges faced by the state. The solutions must be implementable by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The competition is being conducted in 3 stages:
Online Competition
Participating teams will submit their solution to one of the challenges (themes) in form of an online Presentation. Last date for submission online is 12th January 2017. The competition is open for all residents of Uttar Pradesh and college students studying in Uttar Pradesh between the ages of 15-35 years.
Regional Conventions
For the competition, Uttar Pradesh has been divided into six regions. Based on the judging criteria, ten teams (one from every theme) will be selected in every region. The judging process will be carried out in collaboration with the Knowledge Partner. The ten region-wise shortlisted teams from online competition will present their solutions in six regional conventions that will be attended by state leadership, policy makers and subject matter experts and will be organized at Noida, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi and Gorakhpur.
Grand Culmination Convention
Top ten teams (one from each theme) will be selected from Regional Conventions. They will present their solutions at the finale of the competition to the State Leadership at the Grand Culmination Convention to be organized in Lucknow on the occasion of UP Diwas on 24th January 2018. The winners of the competition will be awarded.

ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open for all residents of Uttar Pradesh and college students studying in Uttar Pradesh between the ages of 15-35 years.
The eligibility of all teams shortlisted for Regional Conventions will be confirmed after verification of all team members’ identification and domicile documents. If any participant is found to be ineligible, the respective team will be disqualified from the competition.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
- Each team must comprise of 5 members.
- Each team must have a Team Leader who will be the sole point of contact.
- Only the Team Leader has to register for the competition. No other team member needs to register.
- An individual can participate as a part of multiple teams, but can’t be team leader of more than one team.
- A single team can submit solutions for multiple themes. However, the team must register itself multiple times with different team leader.
- During registration by team leader, following information will be required:
- Details of team leader
- College name, if applicable
- District of team leader
- Preferred theme
- Details of team members
- Verification email will be sent to team leader at the time of registration.
- Email notification will be sent to all team members after the completion of registration process.
