Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship 2019-20

APPLICATIONs INVITED FOR FEDERAL BANK HORMIS MEMORIAL FOUNDATION
SCHOLARSHIP 2019-20
Applications are invited for Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for the
Academic year 2019-20 from the 1st year students pursuing the professional courses as given
below. The scholarship is instituted in memory of the Founder of Federal Bank, Sri K P Hormis.
I .GENERAL
Scholarships are offered for the following courses:
 MBBS
 Engineering
 B Sc. Nursing
 MBA
 Agriculture (B.Sc) including BSc (Hons) Cooperation & Banking with Agricultural Sciences
conducted by Agriculture Universities
Students from the following CSR identified states are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
 Kerala
 Tamil Nadu
 Maharashtra
 Gujarat
(Students are requested to submit Nativity Certificate with copy)

Admission criteria:
Students applying for the scholarship should have secured admission under merit in
Government/Government Recognised self-financing colleges during the Academic year 2019-20.
Annual family Income of the students applying for the scholarship should be less than Rs.3 Lakhs
and an Income Certificate issued by the Village Authorities to substantiate the same is necessary.

Scholarship Details
1. One seat in each discipline will be kept aside for physically challenged students, which shall
be duly evidenced by a certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of DMO or
an approved Medical Officer of the Bank. If applications are not received under physically
challenged category, it will be utilized under general category.
2. Selected students will be reimbursed 100% of tuition fees and other fees paid as per the fee
structure of the college, subject to a maximum of Rs.1Lakh per year. Students are eligible for one Personal Computer (PC) during their course of study (within the overall limit of Rs.1.00
Lakh per year).
II. Scholarship for the wards of martyred ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL
1. Annual Income criteria is NOT applicable to Wards of martyred Armed Forces Personnel
2. In the case of dependant wards of Armed Forces Personnel who lost their life while serving
the Nation, evidence showing the same has to be produced.
3. ALL OTHER CONDITIONS ARE THE SAME AS GENERAL CATEGORY

Students are required to visit the nearest Federal Bank Branch along with duly filled in
Applications published in our website.KYC documents in original have to be shown.
Submit Required documents for verification on or before 31.12.2019 to the branch.
