Chennai Storytelling Festival 2020

Ms Laura Simms would be teaching a 4-session class on "Performance Storytelling", as part of Chennai Storytelling Festival 2020 (the 8th edition of this Festival). 
The 4 sessions of this class are:
1) Session 1 -- Mon 10th Feb, 10am-1pm.
2) Session 2 -- Tues 11th Feb, 2pm-4:30pm.
3) Session 3 -- Wed 12th Feb, 5pm-7:30pm.
4) Session 4 -- Thurs 13th Feb, 10am-12:30pm.

Thursday 6th Feb  11am-12noon

Stories of Female Characters in Legend and Myth (30 minutes),  told by Friends of Sandhya Ruban.
Admission: Free.
Venue: World Storytelling Institute

Friday 7th Feb 2020
11am-11:30am

Inauguration of CSF 2020.
Venue: World Storytelling Institute

Sunday 9th
11am-12Noon
Laura Simms tells stories for children.
(Older people are also welcome.)


Venue: "Slate" performance and training space, No.7 Harrington Road, Chetpet.
(Next to Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, on the same campus as Lady Andal School.)

Admission: Rs 200 per person.

Open-mic Storytelling by and for adults.
Storytellers could choose their own topics and types of stories. (Ten-minute time-limit per Storyteller.)
One could tell, or just listen.
Venue: Cafe Coffee Day Square, on Khader Nawaz Khan Road (opp Taj Corromandel hotel), Nungambakkam.
Admission: Rs 200.

Storytelling Therapy methods could be used for Healing, Counselling, Personality Development, Life Coaching, Training in Soft Skills, Life Skills, and Communication Skills, etc.
