Bangladesh was announced as the “OIC Youth Capital 2020” marking a significant recognition for the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her spirited Government in the youth sector. The Istanbul based Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), an entity affiliated to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), made this declaration on 25 December 2019. The selection of Dhaka as the “OIC Youth Capital 2020” will play a significant role to reflect a positive brand image of Bangladesh globally specially among the youth. The convergence of the yearlong events with the grand celebration of Bangabandhu Birth Centenary has amplified its significance to a great extent
Applications are now invited for Dhaka OIC Youth Capital 2020 from April 12 – 15 in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Who can Participate?
Participants must be from 18 to 35 years old for both genders.
Participation is allowed to the people of OIC Member States or representatives of Islamic communities in other countries.
Program Rules
Participation will be free of charge.
The host will cover the air fair, transportation and accommodation expenses for the selected participants.
Participants must be from 18 to 35 years old for both genders.

The participant must adhere to the event’s regulations and procedures as stated by the organizing committee.
Form will only be accepted in ENGLISH.
Form must be submitted by the set deadline 17th March, 2020.
Activities:
April 12, 2020: Inaugural ceremony and panel discussion;
April 13, 2020: Exploring Dhaka (sightseeing);
April 14, 2020: Celebrating Bengali Newyear. Fly to Cox’s Bazar and beach concert;
April 15, 2020: Rohingya Camp visit and experience sharing session & certificate of participation awarding ceremony;
April 16, 2020: Departure.
Apart from opening, Holy Quran recitation competition, film festival, art exhibition, debate competition, voluntary camp, youth summit, and business hub boot camp, football camp, rover moot, and a grand closing ceremony are the highlights of the yearlong celebration which also coincides with Mujib Year – the birth centenary celebration of father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
