A challenging six-week residential mathematics summer programme, PROMYS India is open to mathematically talented secondary and higher secondary students (Standards IX - XII or equivalent). Meticulously selected students from across India will gather to immerse themselves in rigorous mathematics.
PROMYS India is closely modelled on its parent programme, Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS) which has been running at Boston University in the United States since 1989.
2021 Summer Programme and Fellowships
It is with great sadness that we must postpone the launch of PROMYS India from summer 2021 to summer 2022 in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, Mehta Fellowships are available to PROMYS 2021 at Boston University. PROMYS 2021 will run online from July 4 - August 14, 2021.
2021 Fellowships: Students in India are invited to apply for one of the Mehta Fellowships to PROMYS 2021 which will cover the full cost of participation.
Apply for a 2021 Mehta Fellowship on the PROMYS site. The Mehta application deadline is March 30, 2021. Please note that the regular PROMYS application deadline is March 15.
