The Hindu in School - Essay Writing Competition

he Hindu In School is organising an essay writing contest presented by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Camlin Kokuyo is the writing partner.
The contest is open to students of Class VIII to X
Interested schools from Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru and Hyderabad can register at reach.inschool@thehindu.co.in with the Subject ‘Registration for LIC Essay Writing Contest’ mentioning the name of the school and number of participants. Priority will be given to the first 50 schools that register.

Contests at the schools will take place between November 27 and December 12. Students will get 30 minutes to write on ‘Insured family is a secured family’, in not more than 150 words. Three entries per school will qualify for the city level. Of these, three winners will be declared per city.

Interested schools in cities other than the ones mentioned can send their request to the same email id mentioning the number of students wishing to participate. The request has to be sent before December 5 with the subject: ‘LIC Essay Writing Contest – ROR’. Three overall winners will be selected from the total entries.
