This is an extensive contest for amateurs, students or professionals in media and film.
This 24 hour Rush is a one of a kind short film contest where the teams will have to script, direct, shoot, edit, mix, and present the final short film within 24 hours from the time the concept/theme of the short film was announced..
Please check the following for being part of this contest:
The team/ crew registering should comprise minimum of five people.
The running time of the short film should be 5 minutes excluding the end credits, which should only be 30 seconds.
1. No equipments will be provided for the shoot. The crew should be equipped with at least a DSLR camera.( You may also shoot with iPhone).
2. The team should submit the file in 1920 by 1080 in .mov or .mp4 format regardless of the DSLR or iPhone used to shoot.
3. All crew members should be present with their ID’s for registration.( Drivers License, Voter id or any other ).
4. Registration (On-ground) will start at 9.30 am on May 12th, 2017 (Friday) and closes at 5 pm.
5. Orientation will be given to the teams on the same day or you may go through the Orientation Packet that goes to you when you register online..
6. The concept of the short film will be announced at 10 am on May14th, 2017 through RKFA Facebook Page.
7. . The teams should submit their short film on May 15th, 2017 before 10 am. Submissions past 10:30am will not be considered.
8. The result of the 24 Hour Film Rush contest will be announced on a date to be announced later.
9. Revathy Kalamandir Film Academy reserves the right to reject or disqualify an entry that is later found to be violating any ethical parameters.
We reserve the right to reject such entries without assigning any reason thereof.

First Prize – INR 75,000
Second Prize – INR 50,000

Once you register with your information on the website www.rkfa.in, you shall receive an automated email with your team’s registration number and the contest information packet which will provide you all the essential information and instructions.
Online registration opens on 26 April 2017.
