Digital Payments Awareness - Signature Tune Contest Digital Payments

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has initiated a contest to suggest a Signature Tune to reposition the Digital Payments. MeitY wants to select a signature tune that would be attractive and easily recallable by people. The signature should capture the essence of the Digital Payments which facilitates e-payments directly through banks.

With an aim to promote Digital Payments and converting India to a less-cash society, Government of India (GoI) has taken various steps to increase the adoption of e-payments, such as promoting BHIM App for making payments and Bharat QR for universal acceptable infrastructure. The Government of India has launched Digital Payments Schemes to facilitate e-payments directly through banks. User can make instant bank-to-bank payments and Pay and collect money using Mobile number, Bank a/c and IFSC code, Aadhaar number or Virtual Payment Address (VPA).

Eligibility: The contest is open to citizens which include individuals, teams and organizations of India only.

The prize money for the best 3 Signature Tune will be as follows:
 1 st prize - INR 10,000.00
 2 nd prize - INR 5,000.00
  3 rd prize - INR 3,000.00

Last date of submission is 5th December, 2017 at 5:30PM
