According to the famous quote by Benjamin Disraeli, “The Youth of a Nation are the trustees of
posterity”, the student body of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Karunya University is organizing Electrika’18 a talent hunt cum competition for the future pillars of this world with a focus on providing a platform to bring out their creativity hidden within them and to develop a strong self-confident.
Electrika recommends the competition for each and every student who is studying Science and Maths at the school level. The best performing school can win a cash prize of Rs 20,000, gift and certificates.

I. Paper Presentation
o Theme : Ideas related to empowering youths for creating a better India, Role of Indian
youths in Politics, Global Warming, Energy Crisis, Poverty Eradication etc.,
o Team Size : 3
o Mode of Presentation: Online, Uploading a video of 10MB size. Share the paper in PDF
form
o Who can Participate : Students from 9 to 12th
II. Quiz on Current Affairs
o Team Size : 1
o Mode : Online
o Duration : 60Mins (60 MCQs)
o Who can Participate : Students from 9 to 12th
III. Business Plan
o Theme: The business plan should provide solution for the average and below average
people of the country to earn their daily lively hood. The business plan can be region
specific, eg: Dubbawala from Mumbai
o Team Size : 2
o Modeof Presentation:Online,Uploading a video of 10MB size. Share the paper in PDF
form
o Who can Participate : Students from 9 to 12th
IV. Mock Test JEE and NEET
o To provide a platform for practicing the competitive exams and to give space for
improvement, we the student body have initiated this Mock test on JEE (PCM) and NEET
(PCB).
o Mode : Online
o Duration : 3 hrs
o Who can Participate : Students from 11th& 12th
General Rules
• No Registration fee
• Overall trophy with Rs 20,000/- will be awarded based on the following cumulative points
secured by the school
• Each First Prize – 10 Points
• Each Second Prize – 6 Points
• Each Third Prize – 3 Points
• Maximum number of individual participants -2 Points
• Active promotion of this competition among the students by the school administration (sharing
the details about how the promotion is carried out) – 2 Points
