NHAI Internship Scheme is being offered to provide learning opportunities to young talent in the field of Civil Engineering, through a mutually beneficial Inter Industry Academia association. The Scheme provides an opportunity to the young students to learn and operate in a real-life environment and equip themselves with practical knowledge and skills in fields such as Project Design and Appraisal, Procurement, Project Management, Monitoring and Execution, Land Acquisition, Performance Management and Contract Management etc., The interns are expected to contribute in the functioning of NHAI by way of their inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, papers, research through data or feedback collected during field visits.

As an ongoing effort to set skilling as a national priority and transform India into a digital talent hub, CISCO, AICTE, and NASSCOM FutureSkills PRIME are launching a virtual internship program to provide 20,000 virtual internships in cybersecurity through Cisco Networking Academy program. This unique collaboration between industry and the government will help build a pool of skilled talent significant for future jobs relevant in the industry. The program is open to all bright engineering students from government colleges across India.

In 2013, the program started with 20 students from  7  colleges from Maharashtra. Today we are very proud to have a large mix of students from 23 different states with different backgrounds and from 77 colleges. We continue to create a pool of 1st class industry ready engineers and address the individual, social and economic dimensions. We are looking forward to increase our footprint and empower the skilled workforce.
