What to do?
Step 1: Qualifier
As a group, interview your English teacher. Remember to ask about why she loves teaching English
Step 2: Challenger
As a classroom, design a complete Storyboard page, similar to this page. Pick a good theme. Get creative!
Step 3: Coach Speak
Ask your English teacher to write a 250 words essay about memorable incidents from the classroom.
Step 4: Finale
Create a illustrated children's book of length between 10-20 pages. The best story gets the maximum points.
How to Participate
Send an email to school@thehindu.co.in
Write Classroom of the year in the subject line and include the following details
a. Your school name and address
b. your class and section
c. Your English teacher's name and phone number
You will get registration confirmation from The Hindu and then you can send all the entries to the address provided by them.
Eligibility
Open to Classes 5 to 9; Minimum 7 in a team
