Olympiadsuccess.com is organizing Online Photography Contest for School Students

Eligibility
The contest is open to all children up to class 12.

Entrants require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, it is assumed that entrants have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.

Categories and Themes
There are 4 categories, each with a different theme as
Till Class V: Colours of Life
Classes VI–VIII: Wonders of Nature
Classes IX–XII: Spirit of Art
Moms & Dads: Crazy Kids
For the first 3 categories, the photographs should be clicked by students of that class category. For the last category, the photographs should have kids pictures taken by the parents.

Only one theme is there for each category. The following themes are selected for each class group –

Description
If you are confused what photo should you upload, we can help you with that, see the following descriptions to help you upload the photos!
Colours of Life (Till Class V):
Life is in colours. You just need to keep an eye on the colours. This theme will absorb any photos which contain Different colours depicting different Aspects of Life, How good life is with colours and How colourful you see the world.
Wonders of Nature (Classes VI–VIII):
The nature is full of wonder, this goes without saying. This theme includes all the Flora, Fauna, Landscape and all other features available to us by the Earth. BUT, it should contain something full of wonder and should appeal everybody when looked at.
Spirit of Art (Classes IX–XII):
Here, Art does not refer to just any paintings or artist’s work, but anything which inspires and motivates somebody. Art is all about your perspective of seeing anything, your creative skill & imagination. This may include Painting, Music, Literature, Dance, or any other form of Art through your vision.
Crazy Kids (Moms & Dads):
As the theme describes, you need to upload the craziest picture you captured of your child. You may have caught him/her red-handed doing some mischievous stuff, or he/she was part of a ‘game’ he/she played with you? You need to show off your kid’s innocence as well as his/her naughty mind. What’s important are the pictures that remain in your memory even after a long time.

Submission Rules
Entrants can submit up to five photographs. The more photos you upload the greater is the chance to win.
What is to be submitted
Photos that inspire others to look at and appreciate the built world around them.
Photo should be an original work by the person entering it. All parts of the photo must be taken by you.
Each photo submitted can be of any of the formats.
They must also be under 10MB in size.
Note
Late entries, once the competition is closed we will not accept photographs.
Photographs which have embedded text, borders or are locked will not be accepted.
Submissions that have won other photography competitions are also not allowed.
Photos submitted can have only basic editing. No cloning or major editing are allowed. In case of doubt, the judge might request original files.

Awards
Best Colour Photographs
The best photographs will initially be screened through voting. The top 100 voted photographs will be eligible for Jury Awards. Here's the list of awards under this group:
- 1st prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate) based on different criteria. This will be selected from top 100 most voted photographs
- 2nd prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate) based on different criteria. This will be selected from top 100 most voted photographs
- 3rd prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate) based on different criteria. This will be selected from top 100 most voted photographs
- 4th-10th prize: These are Jury awards (Medal + Merit Certificate) based on different criteria. This will be selected from top 100 most voted photographs
- 11th-100th position: Merit Certificates will awarded to all the entries in each category based on voting (People's Choice)

Best Captions
The best captions will initially be screened through voting. The top 100 liked captions will be eligible for Jury Awards. Here's the list of awards under this group:
- 1st Prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate). This will be selected from top 100 most liked captions
- 2nd prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate). This will be selected from top 100 most liked captions
- 3rd prize: This is a Jury award (Trophy + Merit Certificate). This will be selected from top 100 most liked captions
- 4th-10th prize: These are Jury awards (Medal + Merit Certificate). This will be selected from top 100 most liked captions

Best School
The best school awards will be based on cumulative votes that the school gets. Hence, schools with higher student participation and their respective votes will have higher probability of getting the awards.
The top 10 schools will receive a trophy in each category.

Special Mention
There are 25 awards in this category:
- Most Socially Active – The top 5 most shared photographs will receive this award in each of the 4 categories. Each of awardees will get a medal and a merit certificate.
- Youngest Photographers – 5 young photographers will receive this award. The awardees will have to share birth certificate to claim this award.

Monthly and Weekly Awards
Apart from the 'End of the Event (Final)' awards mentioned above, there will be monthly and weekly recognitions as follows:
- Weekly Recognitions: Based on the incremental votes in a particular week (Monday to Sunday), top 5 most voted photos across categories for the week will be announced on Monday in the following week. These photos will be displayed on My Click My Pick Facebook page. In case, a participant has more than 1 photograph in top 5, the one with higher votes will be eligible. For some weeks, we will also have weekly contests based on specific themes. Few theme-specific events are:
- Holi Colors: There are 4 awards - Top 2 most voted photograph + Top 2 photographs selected by Jury (only top 50 most voted photographs will be considered). The awardees get voucher worth Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 worth of Amazon.com (or Lifestyle or Westside or Yepme or similar) voucher + Rs. 500 worth of OlympiadSuccess.com voucher). In case, a participant has more than 1 photograph, the one with higher votes will be eligible. This contest runs from Mar 13 - 19, 2017

- Monthly Recognitions: Based on the incremental votes (or criteria annouced at the start of the month on My Click My Pick Facebook page) in a particular calendar month, the top 3 photos for the month will be announced monthly winners. These photos will be displayed on My Click My Pick Facebook page. The winners will be awarded voucher worth Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 worth of Amazon.com (or Lifestyle or Westside or Yepme or similar) voucher + Rs. 500 worth of OlympiadSuccess.com voucher). In case, a participant has more than 1 photograph in top 3, the one with higher votes will be eligible. Criteria for following months is as follows:
- January'17: Most voted photograph - top 3
- February'17: Total increment votes on captions on all the photographs - top 3
- March'17: Total increment votes on all the photographs - top 3
- April'17: At school level, there are 3 awards - top 2 most voted and 1 selected by Jury in each school. Only those schools would be eligible from where there are atleast 30 participants
- May'17: Top 3 schools with atleast 15 participants based on incremental voting in May'17. The winning schools will receive trophies and the students getting atleast 20 votes in the month will receive Merit Certificates
