India Skills Kerala-2018 the state's biggest skill festival is organized jointly by Industrial Training Department (ITD) and Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE).
Titled ‘IndiaSkills Kerala 2018’, the skill competition will be an arena for celebrating world class excellence in skills and an avenue to the youngsters to showcase their functional and vocational skills. The winners will represent the state at the national skill competition ‘IndiaSkills 2018’, which will open gates to the ‘WorldSkills 2019’ Moscow, Russia.

LEVELS
IndiaSkills Kerala 2018 is scheduled to be conducted at 3 levels
1. District level – All eligible applicants will compete in the preliminary competition at all the 14 districts of the state
2. Zonal Level – The second level of competition will be conducted in 3 zones viz., North, Central, South. Winners from district level shall compete in respective zones.
3. State level Finals - Winners and runner-ups of each trade from the three zones will stand off at the grand finale organised at Marine Grounds, Kochi

PRIZES
Prizes worth Rs 38 lakh await the winners, which include Rs 1 lakh each for state-level first prize winners and Rs 50,000 each for runners-up. State level participants will receive Rs. 10,000 consolation prize.

Any Indian citizen born on or after 01.01.1997 can participate in the competition
