Designing Logo for National Mission on Cultural Mapping

National Mission on Cultural Mapping (NMCM), an initiative of Ministry of Culture under the umbrella scheme of ‘Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana’ intends to collect and present a Nationwide Directory/Database of Artists in the Visual, Performing and Literary Arts in the CMI portal (http://culturalmapping.nic.in/ ). A ‘National Cultural workplace’ is also planned as a virtual portal for artist to interact, evolve & learn. This contest through the MyGov India platforms attempts to develop a family of logo/emblems for the National Mission on Cultural Mapping.

SIDBI Logo Design Contest 2017

SIDBI invites participation from general public to design the visual identity of the Bank through a logo that capture the essence of the brand according to the broad theme. The details of the contest are as under :

Name of the contest  :   SIDBI Logo Design Contest 2017
Participants:  Individuals who have attained the age of majority, residents of indian & other Indian entities.    
Participation: One entry per individual with maximum 3 images
Submission fee :  Nil.
Prize money : Rs. 10,000/- for the selected logo design (subject to TDS, etc, if applicable) and Citation
Validity period   10 days (Sept. 20, 2017–Sept. 29, 2017) which could be extended by the Bank at its discretion

Broad theme for the logo:

SIDBI has played a vital role over 27 years of its existence as a provider of finance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises through a large number of intermediaries as well as directly through its network. Besides normal term loans and working capital, it has created market for specialized offerings such as micro finance, venture capital, risk capital, green financing, credit guarantees, ratings as also various development initiatives for the sector it serves.

 SIDBI’s interventions are now aimed to be made deeper and wider to rejuvenate the competitiveness of MSMEs in the global arena and to strengthen and develop other intermediaries, including new age Fintechs, working in the MSME eco system.  It intends to leverage technology to improve access to finance by MSMEs in the informal sector.  The new logo must reflect the changing landscape in financial inclusion through innovation led business and start-ups and greater positive impact on society.  Details of SIDBI’s profile and area of operations including subsidiaries and associates are available in its website https://www.sidbi.in.

IIIT-NR INSTITUTE LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), is a University established by the ‘International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013’ of the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a joint venture of Chhattisgarh State Government and NTPC. The institute is committed to pursue excellence in higher education, research and development in Information Technology (IT) and associated disciplines. It firmly believes in bestowing knowledge dissemination and imparting entrepreneurial skills to the students to enable them to address real world problems.
To empower this vision, International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR) calls for a design competition for development of its Institute Logo (with motto) for the development of identity and branding of the organization capturing and promoting the main value/s of the organization. Accordingly all are herby invited to participate in the competition for design of the Institute logo.

Terms and Conditions


  • The competition is open to Only Indian Nationals/All citizens.
  • Each participant can submit single entry only. If any participant/s will submit multiple entries, all entries submitted by the participant/s will be rejected.
  • All entries must be submitted through the post in hard/soft copy (CD). Entries submitted through any other mode/medium will not be entertained.
  • The logo designed by a participant must be original work and shall not be an infringement of Intellectual Property Rights.
  • The logo must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
  • The winning design of the logo would be the intellectual property of the IIIT-NR and the winner cannot exercise any right over it, after acceptance of the prize. The prize-winning logo is meant to be used by IIIT-NR for promotional and display purposes and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate for the initiative. The winning entry will be awarded a prize money of` Rs. 25,000/- and a Certificate.
  • Logo & Rationale: Logo must be submitted with the rationale of the design.
  • Rationale: A maximum of 100 words in English to describe the concept, theme and symbolic elements.

Technical Parameters:

  • Participants shall send the soft copy of logo in CD/DVD in JPEG/PNG/PDF/ PSD/ CDR format only.
  • The logo should be in high resolution with minimum 300 DPI.
  • The logo should be designed on a digital platform, which shall be in an editable and open file format.
  • A specification sheet containing graphical construction of the design in exact proportions in a bigger size, along with final design, theme synopsis and concept is required to be submitted. All technical details, including file formats, can be structured in the sheet itself.
  • The logo should be usable on the website/social media such as Twitter/Facebook and on printed material such as black and white press releases, stationery and signage.
  • Participants should not imprint or watermark logo design.
  • The Logo should be designed in colour. 

Evaluation Criteria:

  • All the entries received by IIIT-NR would be assessed by a Selection Committee for final evaluation.
  • Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact and its relevance to its institute’s vision.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any of their decisions.

Logo Design Contest for World Food India - 2017

Ministry of Food Processing Industries is organising an International event “World Food India-2017” in New Delhi in November 2017, with a view to showcasing the opportunities available in India in the food processing sector including FDI in food trading. The large agricultural product base, low levels of processing, large domestic market and Government of India’s initiatives of “Make In India’ and “Ease of doing business” will make it very attractive for foreign investors to come and invest in India. In addition, the current policy of 100% FDI permitted through automatic route in food processing sector as also 100% FDI permitted in food retail (for domestic manufactured food) also make investing in India more attractive to the foreign investors.

Logo Design Competition for IISER Berhampur

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Berhampur calls for a design competition for development of its Institute Logo for the development of identity and branding, capturing and promoting the main value/s of the organization

Terms and Conditions:
1. All entries must be submitted through the post in hard/ soft copy (CD). Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode will not be entertained.
2. The Competition is open to all citizens. 
The entry could be an individual project or a team project.
3. The winning design of the logo would be the intellectual property of the IISER Berhampur and the winner cannot exercise any right over it, after acceptance of the prize.
The prize-winning logo is meant to be used by IISER Berhampur for promotional and display purposes and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate for the initiative. The winning entry will be awarded a prize money of` Rs. 51,000/- and a Certificate.
4. The logo must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
5. The logo designed by a participant must be original work and shall not be an infringement of Intellectual Property Rights.
6. Only one entry per participant would be considered.
7. The participant is required to submit an affidavit on Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- duly attested by first class Magistrate/Notary/Oath Commissioner showing therein full detailsof father’s/husband’s name  along with the residential address. The affidavit shall also show that the logo designed is original work and does not violate any provision of any Intellectual Property Laws in India. IISER Berhampur does not bear any responsibility for any violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants. The affidavit must be submitted in original to this Institute along with the application.
