International Poster Competition - 26th San Diego Latino Film Festival

Submit your poster design for a chance to be a part of SDLFF history!

Submissions to the 26th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival are now open. The festival will be taking place March 14-24, 2019. SDLFF 2019 is seeking innovative, original, and thought-provoking works that are ‘by’, ‘about’ or ‘for’ the Latino community, that have been completed between 2017-2018.

The best part? The winning artwork will receive a prize of $1,000.00 dollars!

Who can participate?
This is an international competition, it is open to designers of all professional levels.
There is no entry fee.

Selection Process
A panel of distinguished judges (composed of artists, graphic designers, and art educators) will vote on the winning poster and finalists.

Prizes
Top Prize: $1,000.00 dollars and promotional exposure in ALL marketing festival related marketing materials
10 Finalists – 2 tickets to the 24th San Diego Latino Film Festival (March 14-24, 2019) & limited promotional exposure!

The International Compost Awareness Week Committee invites YOU to get involved in ICAW 2019. ICAW is looking for anyone interested in participating in our 17th Annual Poster Contest. The winning poster will be used to promote International Compost Awareness Week, May 5 -11, 2019.

POSTER THEME: Cool the Climate – Compost!

Contest Period
The contest runs from September 1 until November 5, 2018

Eligibility
Contest is open to anyone who wishes to share their artistic creativity to promote this year’s theme.
 There are 3 contest divisions: grades 3-7, grades 8-12, and college – adult. The best from each division will be entered into the final contest.
There is NO ENTRY FEE

The winning poster will serve as the promotional piece to share nationwide the 2019 International Compost Awareness Week theme.

The poster contest winner will have his/her poster reproduced and distributed to thousands nationwide. It will be the official 2019 International Compost Awareness Week poster and featured on the CCREF website as well as on the US Composting Council website too. The winning “poster artist” will have his/her name posted on the CCREF website and will be included on all print material and in any press releases in association with our annual ICAW celebration.


The successful poster winner will receive a $500 prize.

GENERAL RULES
Registration is free.
Students may register through website or through registration forms available with the school office / MBITS office.
For group events, all contestants must register together and all must be from the same institution.
Any change in registered team will not be entertained unless prior sanction from the host institution.
No spot registration is allowed.
All group members should produce ID cards/Authorization letter from the institution.
Participants must comply with all rules and other judgments set by the Committee.
Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the participant groups.
The host institution explicitly reserves the right to change or amend any event in unavoidable circumstances.
The decisions of the jury members are final.
Participants have to report at registration counter 1 hour prior to the commencement of the event.
Participation certificates will be given for all the participants.

RULE FOR SMART SCHOOL AWARD

For Smart School Award, participation in minimum three events is compulsory.
School with maximum point will be entitled with Smart School Award.
In case of a tie, the number of event participated by a school will be considered for choosing the Smart School.
Any student from classes 8 to 12 can participate.
A mentor may accompany the team from each school.

Since SOIL is known as the soul of infinite life. Continued maintenance of good soil health is vital to agriculture production and nation’s economy. Despite the indisputable role of soil for the health of Human being, animal and plant life, there has been very little concern about soil health care. Soil health is the capacity of the soil to sustain biological productivity, maintain environment quality and promote plant and animal health. It is the fitness of the soil for specific use.

The emerging complex challenges of maintaining good health of the precious, scare and shirking soil resource for sustained high productivity under the current and projected unprecedented pressure are enormous, but their cost-effective, eco-friendly, farmer-friendly and scientifically-sound solutions will be amply rewarding in terms of food security, environmental safety and over all human welfare. To maintain soil resource in good health, mass awareness among the farmers and others stakeholders about the value of the soil health is of utmost importance. Government of India has been implementing a scheme on Soil Health Management (SHM) to take care of soil test based nutrient management at farm level.

All citizens or stakeholders are invited to participate in raising awareness about the soil health care-A Key to Nation’s Prosperity. You can do this by designing a Poster on one of the themes mentioned below:

International Student Poster Competition, Skopje 2017

The International Student Poster Competition is a project initiated by Plakart- the Association for Design, Film and Multimedia in 2007, as the world's first student competition on socially relevant topics that promoted posting electronically without any fees!


Skopje Poster creates chances for development for students, promotes young professionals and rising stars, visual artists from the region and Europe through parallel promotion of design and global problems of social character.

Eligibility
All students on BA, MA and PhD studies of fine arts, design, visual arts, from any part of the world

Guidelines
The poster should promote the given topic and promote a solution / concept for a wider international audience.

It is recommended that the poster be in English, however, posters with incorporated texts / messages in all other languages ​​will be accepted.
The submitted poster must follow:
            - JPG file with B3 format printing preparation (350x500mm) with 300 dpi resolution with custom CMYK colors.                    

            - A single file must not exceed 10 MB.

All used fonts should be in outline or rasterized.
You are not allowed to use any designs / materials you do not own copyrighted.

Organizers reserve the right to use the submitted visual solutions for presentation and media use and reproduction for promotional purposes within the international promotional activities and campaigns.

Road accident kills more people in India than terrorism or natural disasters. Nearly 400 people die across the nation in road mishaps every day.

Government of Assam has taken several measures to curb road accidents and fatalities.

The rise in road accidents is attributed to lack of awareness on road safety and negligence. The Government of Assam seeks your suggestions in this regard.

MyGov Assam is organizing a Poster Design Competition to spread awareness about road safety in Assam.

Last date of submission is 10th May, 2017

Terms and Conditions
• The poster should be 17 inches x 23 inches in either portrait or landscape orientation
• Entries should be submitted in PDF or JPG format. Size of the file should not be more than 10MB

Design a Poster; Create a Logo and a Slogan for World Oral Health Day 2017

About NOHP

This programme was launched to prevent, control and manage effectively, the burden of oral diseases in India. This comprehensive programme aims to make oral health services accessible, affordable and sustainable with onus on oral health promotion and disease prevention for good general health and well being.

Centre for Dental Education and Research-AIIMS
In addition to providing state of the art dental services, the Centre for Dental Education and Research, AIIMS also serves as the nodal agency and has been designated as the National Centre of Excellence for the implementation of the NOHP.

How the centre does it?
• The centre monitors the activities of the NOHP and convenes innumerable training activities, workshops and orientation programmes for dentists, auxiliary personnel, school teachers and health workers of other National health programmes in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to achieve the mandate of the NOHP.
• Development of Information, Education and Communication materials for the promotion of oral health and training of the oral health man power and various health personnel are also done at the centre.
• Development of various training manuals for Oral health manpower and allied health personnel is done by the experts at the centre.
• Besides, the centre also conducts research activities that contribute to achieving the mandate of the programme. These include development of cost effective diagnostic and treatment methods, surveys that give an oral health profile of the various districts and States in India.
• Experimental research activities testing tools that can help in a faster assessment of the dental condition of individuals and population groups are also done at the centre.

What is expected from you

You are required to design a poster and/or a logo and/or a write a slogan for the NOHP.
The theme is “Brush Your Way to Health”
• The poster, logo and the slogan should be relevant to Oral Health and should be based on the theme specified.
• The poster should be usable on our website/ social media such as twitter, Facebook and on printed material such as b/w press releases, stationery and signage

• Has to be submitted in MSWord / JPEG/PNG/PDF/TIFF format

The Logo
• Participants should upload the Logo in JPEG/ JPG/ PNG/ SVG format only.
• Logo should be designed in colour.
• The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cm*60cm in either portrait or landscape.

Nirbhaya Cell, Social Justice Department,  Government of Kerala is organising a poster design competition for the students of all schools in Kerala.
The school level competition is to be held in the respective schools between 26-28 October 2016 and the selected two best posters to be handed over to the Social Justice Officer in the respective districts on or before 03.11.2016.
The candidates should be given code numbers which should written on the back side of the poster. The name, class, or school of the students should not be written on the posters.

The selected posters at the District Level will be send to State level competition the date and venue will be intimated later.

The winning poster will be used as the cover picture for Nirbhaya programmes in the state and the firs prize winner will be declared as the Nirbhaya Ambassador.
