StarWords India Flash Fiction Competition

StarWords India in collaboration with Writeropedia welcomes your submissions in the form of Flash Fiction for which the guidelines are mentioned below.

• The flash fiction should only be written in ENGLISH.
• Each story must contain minimum 700 words and maximum 1000 words.
• You can choose your own theme as long as it is not offending under any circumstances.
• The story should not be plagiarized. However, you can submit a previously published story from your personal blog. Stories published on ANY other online and offline media will be REJECTED due to copyright issues.
• The last date for submission is 30 April 2018.
• You can submit as many stories as you want to. Check out the submission fee required BELOW.
• All submissions have to be sent to StarWords India (submissions.starwords@gmail.com) as an MS Word File. The SUBJECT should be FLASH FICTION CONTEST. The MS Word file MUST include your NAME, CONTACT NUMBER, EMAIL ID, and AUTHOR BIO (Refer to the About Us section on the website to know how to write an Author Bio in 50 to 100 words.)

AWARDS & PERKS:
The best stories will be selected and published on the websites of StarWords India and Writeropedia.
Some selected stories will be chosen and compiled into a book (Both e-book and Paperback). The book will be published by a popular publisher.
The top 3 candidates will get an editorial post on them on the websites along with an award.
The participants whose stories are selected for publishing will be awarded a certificate and a copy of the book.
Every participant will be awarded a certificate of participation.

SUBMISSION FEE:
For Indian participants:
You need to pay INR 500 per story while submitting your work.
If you submit an additional story, you can submit the same at INR 300 until 15 April and INR 500 after 15 April.

For participants from the Indian subcontinent:
You need to pay $10 per story while submitting your work.
If you submit an additional story, you can submit the same at $5 until 15 April and $10 after 15 April.

For international participants:
You need to pay $20 per story while submitting your work.
If you submit an additional story, you can submit the same at $10 until 15 April and $20 after 15 April.
