The distinguished jury panel consists of Javed Akhtar (Poet, Lyricist, Screenwriter), and Kausar Munir (Poet, Lyricist, Screenwriter) and Kalki Koechlin (Actor, Activist, Poet).
Eligibility
The Contest is open to ALL persons above 14 yrs of age.
Prizes
Winner: INR 25,000
Runner-Up: INR 10,000
Second Runner-Up: INR 5,000
10 Consolation Prizes: Each prize winner will receive INR 1,000
International Category: USD 100
The jury panel will also pick the 50 best poems from the contest, and they will be published in the much-awaited Anthology of On Fire, ‘Aatish 2’, An International Anthology of Poems, alongside renowned and award winning writers such as Gulzar, Piyush Mishra, Swanand Kirkire and many more.
Submission Guidelines
Each submission is permitted to have two poems.
Multiple submissions are allowed.
International Category: Each submission has one poem.
All poem submissions must be in English language only.
A poem must not exceed 40 Lines. Poems may be of any style.
INDIANS AND NRIs
You can submit two poems per submission. You can make multiple submissions.
Each submission has a fee of INR 250.
INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY
This category applies to poets who are non Indian and wish to participate.
Each submission can have one poem. You can make multiple submissions.
Each submission has a fee of USD 5.
Deadline is 10 July 2018.
