Children Online National Level Painting Competition

Showcase your drawing and painting skills and win a prize:
Dessin School of Arts is conducting an online National level Art and painting contest with different themes. The competition is conducted on quarterly basis (i.e., you can send your entries within the given three months time, after which the theme will be changed for the next competition). The competition as of now is open only to the children studying in India, though we shall make efforts to include every other art loving children. Participants should abide by our decision

PRIZE :
The best five entries from each group (Pre KG - 3rd Std, 4th Std - 6th Std, 7th Std - 9th Std) from will be announced as the winners.

 First prize Gold Medal + Personalised certificate
 Second prize Silver Medal + Personalised certificate
 Third prize Bronze Medal + Personalised certificate

NOTE :
1. There is no entry fee
2. Each student can send only one entry per competition.
3. Paintings must be the student’s original creative work.
4. Entries should be closely related to the given theme, allowing for a degree of imaginary interpretation.
5. The painting should be done in A4 size and must be sent in JPEG image form.
6. Every entry must carry the required information as provided on the website of the organisers in English and in Block Letters at Registration Form and while uploading the painting.

Students can use any type of paper of A4 size and can use oil/pastel/water colour as per their choice

Forwarding of 10 best adjudged entries in each category by the Regional Offices to the HQs of KVS/NVS/CBSE.

Uploading of top 20 winning entries by KVS/NVS/CBSE and States & UTs on MHRD website (www.mhrd.gov.in).
24th January, 2017

No cash prizes are to be given to the winning students. However, participating children would be given e-Certificate of Participation and best winning entries would be given e-Certificate of Merit.

The best entries at the school level in each category would be forwarded by the school head duly signed and attested. It must have the name, class, address, contact number and e-mail id of the student/parents.

Govt. of India Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Central Ground Water Board Guidelines for 6th School Level Painting Competition 2015-16 The 6th Painting Competition is being held among the students of 6th, 7th and 8th
1. The school level competition for the students of 6 standard across the country in three stages, namely, School, State and National level. The State level winners and National level winners will be awarded cash prizes. th, 7th, and 8th
2. School Principals are requested to organize painting competition of 2 hours duration at their schools. standards has been initiated in all the States/UT’s.
3. Drawing materials for the school level would be provided by the schools/ students and no expenditure in this regard would be borne by the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation /Central Ground Water Board.
4. Paintings may be made preferably on A4/A3 size paper, though there is no restriction on type/size of paper, paints, crayons, water colour, etc.
5. The themes for the painting competition area. Stop River Pollution b. Nirmal Nadi c. Contamination of Ground water with Arsenic and other contamination issues.
6. All paintings must contain the following details at the back of the drawing sheet – Name of student, class, section, school, full school address, father/mothers name, telephone number of school and parents, mobile number of school and parents, E mail ID, if any and signature of Principal in the following format. 7. Paintings not signed by the school Principal or sent directly by student/parent to the Nodal Officer will not be accepted.
8. The Regional Director/ Head of Office/Officer- in-charge/ of the Regional Offices/Sate Unit Offices of CGWB are Nodal Officers for the painting competition for the State/UT’s under their jurisdiction.
9. Three (3) best paintings are to be selected from each school and the same are to be forwarded to the concerned Nodal Officer of CGWB. The selection of the three best paintings from each school is to be done by the respective school authorities.
10. The School Level Painting Competition is to be concluded by 30th November, 2015.
11. Each school will submit list of participants to the concerned State Nodal Officer.
12. Use of collage/patchwork will not be permitted in the paintings

The contests are being organised in collaboration with the Society of Upliftment of Massess, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC of UN as a part celebrations around the World Human Rights Day (10th December) and National Consumer Day (24th December).

1. Slogan Contest on the theme "Say No to Plastic Bags" (not more than 15 words)

2. Painting competition on the theme "Save Environment" (on A4 or A3 size paper)

3. Online Photography contest on the theme "Happy Grandparents Happy Family" through the facebook page http://www/facebook.com/consumersindia2007

Details relating to name, age, class, institution, complete postal address and email of the participant should be written clearly in capital letters at the back of each entry.
